Why did the South turn Republican?

actually your wrong...it's because of the vacuum left from the Dems.... the left, left the south for the Repubs. which gladly took the advantage..nothing is as complicated as you make it....the Dems of the south were much more racist then the Repubs....look at Senator Bird of West V.
