whats more important is that you both love each other.. rather than throwing lavish party which will cost you a bomb and cost him his ego (do not underestimate the impact it does, him being financially inferior). i totally against you forking out for all the expenses.. have a small moderate wedding reception for close family and very close friends only.. it is more meaningful than having all the cousins, uncles, aunties and other distance relatives you only met once or twice in your life. let him pay for the party, hence the size would depends on how much he can afford. every body wants fairy tale like wedding ceremony.. but reality bites..
