take the test. you should listen to yourself and just use it as a guide. itll give you a good standpoint. plus i heard that you can now choose which tests you wanna send to college and they wont see ALL your scores. so take it. dont worry, if you do bad (which cant be lower than 1680 which isnt bad) then you can always retake it. then youll know what you have to study and everything and theres always improvement. usually ppl improve at least 200-300 points higher. with that, your chances of nyu is pretty good but if your applying to stern (their business school) you might need a littler more improvement, at least over 2000, but for there otehr shcools, youll be fine
