Is it possible to have a crush on someone even after 10 years?

Long story short: Ex co-worker. I loved this ex co-worker from the first time I met him, some 10 years ago. Only felt the same way towards my husband of 15 years. Currently (since 2007), we have been healthy platonic friends (my husband is friends with him as well). This guy knows that I *kind of* had feelings for him at one time (which is the understatement of the century), but said he was flattered and is still cool with me, as far as our friendship. I told him this back in August/Sept of 2007, and we have talked almost daily via IM or e-mail since. How is it possible to love two people at the same time, in the same way?
