I'm incredibly nice and sweet, but i'm really into dark evil characters?

i'm known to be be the nice one in the family: I'm caring, giving, a little push over, and i (most of the time) put myself before people. What can be the reason why i'm so nice and tenter, yet i'm into dark evil characters? like i always side on the bad people in movies(except the gory bloody ones).
